I was re-reading the <\/span>Transact Report<\/span><\/span><\/a> again\u2026\u2026and noticed the following comments on school catering\u2026\u2026.which said \u201cmost local authorities do not provide an in-house school catering service\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Now as someone who has always asked questions\u2026..I really need to see some evidence for statements like this. In July 2009 the Trade Unions submitted a report to Future Shape Cabinet Committee with a number of questions in particular about the Transact Group.\u00a0 <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I have to say trying to find out what the group was actually doing and who was doing the doing has felt like being in a Dan Brown novel!<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However, 11 months after asking for the <\/span>Transact report<\/span><\/span><\/a> it finally appeared in my in box\u2026\u2026.I took a deep breath and opened the report\u2026\u2026..had I finally got my hands on the Future Shape Da Vinci Code?……would\u00a0 <\/span>I finally understand the mysteries of easyCouncil? \u2026.would I hear a choir of angels singing in my ear…………?<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

No\u2026.this is what I <\/span>saw?<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Does <\/span>this report<\/span><\/span><\/a>, justify the local <\/span>press story<\/span><\/span><\/a> or this <\/span>interview<\/span><\/span><\/a> with Vanessa Feltz on BBC London earlier this week. <\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
